Therapy as Self-Care

Therapy as Self-Care

Have you been curious about therapy? Wondering if now was the time to begin, however feel like there is no *one* thing you can pinpoint that brings you to therapy. At Wild Hope we love the term Therapy as Self-care.

Therapy as Self-care can mean a number of different things, however let me share a couple of reasons people have reached out for therapy as self-care  at Wild Hope.

  • People having friends that have had a positive experience from therapy and they are curious what impact therapy could have in their life.

  • Things are pretty smooth sailing at the time however, know there is the possibility of stress, transition or change on the horizon.

  • The benefit of knowing you have a time and neutral place to process through work, family, parenting, the past or future.

So really this list could be endless! If you are a little bit curious about therapy and wondering what impact it could have in your life, even if you do not have a big thing you need to process through, we are here to support you. Sometimes in moments of calm it can be the best time to engage in therapy. You can build a relationship with a therapist and a foundation of resources to utilize when stressors arise.

Consider this your invitation to give therapy a try!
